Introduction: Vegan Marshmallows

Every time I bake something my lady friend requests that I go far vegan. I normally just mockery at her and remark that "You're non even vegan! I don't think you're even up vegetarian. No!" At which point she typically counters that "vegan comeupance are scrumptious."

So, the other day when I got information technology in my head to make kosher marshmallows, her months of pestering finally bore yield and I thought to myself, "What is more cosher than vegan?"

Only how does a person make vegan marshmallows? One prompt Google lookup answered this question with an awesome "ASCII text file recipe." This recipe resulted in uncomparable mighty good marshmallow (vegan or not).

I present to you this gift of marshmallow goodness that those of the strictest fare preference and religious convictions can enjoy. It doesn't matter if you are vegan, vegetarian, pescaterian, Presbytarian, Jewish, Muslim, Faith operating theatre Jedi.

Warning: This is a vivace vibrating and untidy process. This is not for the faint of ticker.

Step 1: Ingredients

You will necessitate:

5 tablespoons soy protein isolate 90%
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon xantham gum
3/4 cup cold water

For the goo

1.5 cups raw saccharify
1 transfuse light corn syrup
1/2 loving cup water
1 tablespoon Genutine Vegetarian Gelatin (if you happen to be in SF, hit an appointment and go to the showroom. IT is awesome).
2 teaspoons vanilla

For coating

oil (to coat Pan)
2 tablespoons vegan powdered sugar
2 tablespoons corn amylum

Stride 2: Powdered Sugar Mix

Mix together your two tablespoons of powdered sugar and your two tablespoons of corn amylum.

Step 3: Prep the Pan
